  Visited after local newspaper article. Disappointing visit. Had a coffee, that was ok, and a toasted sandwich. The filling was fine but the sandwich was so compressed it was like two sheets of cardboard and poorly presented. Average menu. Service slow, there was only one other table in use and complete absence of atmosphere. There is a lot of competition in Halstead, sort it out. Sorry.
